The Kisan Credit Card Scheme also known as KCC is a government-backed initiative that the government of India launched to empower farmers by providing them with credit facilities for their agriculture needs. It was launched in August 1998 based on the model Prepared by NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development). It is also known as the Pradhan Mantri Credit Card Yojana and one of its main objectives is to support agriculture production by providing loans to the Indian Farmers.

How to Apply for the Kisan Credit Card Process Online?

  1. As a first step Visit your Bank Website or bank’s mobile app.
  2. Navigate to the “Agri Loans” section and select Kisan Credit Card.
  3. Click on the bank’sApply’ option or Download the Application Form.
  4. Fill out the online/downloaded application form with the required details and click ‘Submit’ or submit it to the bank.
  5. You will receive an application reference number.
  6. As a last step, the bank will check the eligibility and contact you within 3 to 4 working days to proceed with, the process.
