Jai ho Mahakak Ki, Hello friends this is Saurabh from Guwahati, Assam. I am a big devotee of Lord Shiva and I have visited almost famous temple of Mahadev. But I have a dream to visit Kinner Kailash Yatra this year in 2025. Can anyone here tell me How can I register for this Yatra (Trek) and what the estimated cost? Also, share the date when the register is open for Kinner Kailash Yatra. Thanks

The Himachal Pradesh Government organizes the Kinner Kailash Yatra annually, attracting devotees and adventure enthusiasts. Situated at 17,000 feet (6050 meters) above sea level, this pilgrimage offers breathtaking views and a challenging trek.

Trek Route & Important Stops

  • Starting Point: Tangling Village (Base Camp)
  • 1st Camp: Maling Khata (9 km from Base Camp)
  • 2nd Camp: Parvati Kund (1 km before Kinner Kailash)
  • Final Destination: Kinner Kailash Shiv Linga

The trek covers a 17 km journey on one side, reaching Parvati Kund at 14,000 feet before the final ascent to Kinner Kailash. This site is considered sacred, as per Hindu mythology, with beliefs that Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati held divine meetings here.

Trek Cost & Booking Information: The 2024 trek cost was approx. ₹22,000, with the 2025 pricing to be announced closer to the yatra start date. Booking can be done both online and offline, as per the administration’s guidelines.

  • Mandatory Registration: Devotees must carry a registration certificate & valid ID proof.
  • Arrival Time: Follow the assigned date & time at the gathering point.
