The proposed annual and lifetime toll passes aim to provide seamless and cost-effective travel for frequent highway commuters. Unlike the current system, where toll passes are limited to specific plazas, these new passes will offer unrestricted access to all national highways and expressways.

The annual pass, priced at INR 3,000, will allow unlimited travel for one year, while the lifetime pass, valid for 15 years, will cost INR 30,000. This initiative will help reduce congestion at toll booths, save time for commuters, and lower the financial burden on middle-class travelers who frequently use highways.

Additionally, integrating the passes with the existing FASTag system will ensure a smooth transition without requiring extra devices or expenses.
