Hello friends! I’m planning to apply for the CMEGP (Chief Minister Employment Generation Programme) in 2025 to start my business . But I’m confused about the complete list of documents needed for the application. Do we need project report, caste certificate, Aadhaar, etc.? Also, is there a specific format or checklist provided by the government? If anyone has applied already or has the official list, please share it here. It will help many first-time applicants like me.
If you’re applying for the CMEGP (Chief Minister Employment Generation Programme) in 2025 to start your own business – that’s awesome! I was also confused about the documentation, but here’s a simplified list to help you (especially if you’re applying for the first time):
Documents You’ll Need for CMEGP:
Personal Documents:
- Aadhaar card
- PAN card
- Passport-size photo
- Domicile certificate (proof you’re from Maharashtra)
- Education certificate (like 10th or 12th mark sheet depending on project cost)
Business/Project Related:
- Detailed Project Report (basically your business plan)
- Caste certificate (if you’re from SC/ST/OBC)
- Certificate for special categories (like women, ex-servicemen, etc.)
- Population certificate (if applying from a rural area)
- Undertaking form (given on CMEGP portal)
Financial Documents:
- Udyam Registration (for MSME)
- Bank passbook copy or cancelled cheque
- Any income proof if available
Optional but Helpful:
- EDP training certificate (if already done – or you can do it after approval)
How to Apply:
- Go to maha-cmegp.gov.in
- Register and fill in your details
- Upload the above documents
- Submit and wait for verification
If you’re not sure how to make a project report or fill in the undertaking, you can check with your local District Industries Centre (DIC) – they usually help guide you.
