What is the Cost of Opening a PUC Center?

My name is Piyush and I am thinking of starting my own business. So can I earn a good income by opening a pollution testing center? Can anyone tell me here how much it will cost to open a PUC center?

If you want to open a PUC center and know its cost, then let us tell you that the cost of opening a PUC center can be different in all states. For this, you will have to spend around 1.5 lakh to 2 lakh. You will need space, a cabin, equipment, and a license. Talking about license fees, it is different in different states. Like in Delhi NCR, both security and license fees are 5-5 thousand rupees. Along with this, if we talk about Kolkata, then here this fee is 10-10 thousand.

PUC is an acronym for “Pollution Under Control” and the PUC center is a government-authorized center where you can people can receive PUC certificates. This center has less testing equipment that can be used to test the level of emissions a vehicle is making. As you know, in our country millions of vehicles run on the road. That;'s why it is a very hard task for the govt to open and PUC centers itself. Consequently, commercial entities are permitted by the government to certify automobiles that bear a non-pollution-making mark.
