But there are so many prominent leaders like Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, Raghav Chadha, Gopal Rai, Saurabh Bhardwaj, and more. They are the Top leadership of the Aam Aadmi Party who are capable of running the government. Why chose “Atishi Marlena” - a sympathizer of terrorists like Afzal Guru? That’s my question!
Recently Swati Maliwal attacked Atishi on X (formerly Twitter) saying that her family had fought to stop Afzal Guru’s hanging. DCW chief and Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal, who has had a bitter relationship with the Aam Aadmi Party, criticised the decision to appoint Atishi as Delhi’s chief minister. Maliwal said that her parents had fought to stop the hanging of terrorist Afzal Guru. Yet Arvind Kejirwal announched her name for the Next CM of Delhi.

Her parents wrote mercy petitions to the Honorable President to save terrorist Afzal Guru.
According to them, Afzal Guru was innocent and he was framed as part of a political conspiracy.
